Club Championship
There is a new Ladies Club Champion at PPCC! Congratulations to JoJo Valente on her win over Deirdre Morris last weekend in the PPCC Club Championship! Congratulations also go out to Donna Dickson, winner of the First Flight over Cheryl LeBlanc and Ann Stein, winner of the Second Flight over Sally Leonard. To round out the results, Deb Chartrand took the Consolation round in the Championship Flight and Lynn Colomb took the Consolation round in the First Flight. It was a great weekend of golf, thank you to all the women who participated!!

Year End Banquet, September 16th
Wednesday, September 16th will be the close of the official golf season for the ladies of PPCC! It has been a great season, with a few rain-outs, but a lot of fun and good, friendly competition! The Final Banquet will be on Wednesday, September 16th. Social Hour will be from 5:00 to 6:00, dinner will be at 6:00, with prize awards following dinner. We hope many of our women members join us for the Banquet!

On Wednesday, we will be saying a BIG Thank You to Maggie Rafter, who will be stepping down from the Women's Sports Committee after many years of service. She has been dedicated, creative, fun, and caring during her tenure and she will be missed as part of the Committee!
Remember, while the organized tournaments and events are coming to a close, there is still lots of golf to be played!! So keep those pars and birdies coming through the beautiful fall season! And if you don't hit them Long, Straight and Not too Often, use the VERY unofficial "leaf rule".... if the ball is lost in the leaves, drop one and keep going!!
