Reminders and new “Maximum Score” rule for this tournament.
1. PACE OF PLAY: We would like to play our round today in 4 ½ hours or less. To make this possible, BE READY TO PLAY WHEN IT IS YOUR TURN. DON’T WAIT IN THE CART WHILE OTHERS PLAY-DROP YOUR PARTNER OFF AT HER BALL OR LEAVE HER THE CART AND WALK TO YOUR BALL. EXAMINE THE LINE OF YOUR PUTT WHILE OTHERS ARE PUTTING. CHECK HANDICAP STROKES WHEN YOU START THE HOLE AND PICK UP IF YOU ARE OUT OF THE HOLE FOR BOTH GROSS AND NET. Remember that one ball can be used as both your gross and net score for a hole.
2. MAXIMUM SCORE – A player’s score for each hole is capped at 10 strokes. (USGA 2019 Rules) Stop playing the hole if you reach the maximum, or you realize the score of less than the maximum will not be possible. Record score as 10.
3. Please verify, sign, and turn your scorecard in immediately after play is complete. BRING SCORECARDS TO THE SPORTS COMMITTEE OFFICE (In front of Men’s Locker Room). PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CONVERSATION WITH THE SCORERS UNTIL SCORING IS COMPLETE
