The Renovations Have Begun!

The first steps in renovating the clubhouse began on Saturday, January 25th!  Chris Kirbach, who has graciously volunteered his time and skills to act as general contractor, along with several other members who gave up their Saturday morning, began the process of preparing the clubhouse for the upcoming improvements, now scheduled to begin Saturday, February 22nd.

First, the old ceiling tiles were removed to make way for new acoustic, sound deadening tiles, which should dramatically reduce the loudness of the room.  In case you hadn't noticed, the room tends to become very noisy during events.  Once the carpet was removed to reveal our beautiful floor a few years ago,  this problem was literally amplified.  Along with a few other improvements, the new ceiling tiles, which are rated at 70% sound reduction, should make for a big improvement.

Next, the old counter, which has served us well for so many years, was removed to make way for the new bar, which will seat up to 18 people!
